About Me

With over a decade of experience as an educator, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with young children and their families, including those navigating a range of developmental needs such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This background has deeply shaped my therapeutic approach and continues to fuel my passion for supporting children, adolescents,
adults, and caregivers. My years in education have strengthened my ability to build trusting, authentic relationships and provided valuable insight into the systemic barriers that many families face in accessing meaningful supports and resources.

I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where individuals and families feel welcome, seen, heard, and valued. My approach is collaborative and rooted in the belief that people thrive when their unique strengths are recognized and supported. I work from a trauma-informed, client-centred, and strengths- based perspective, often incorporating self-reflection, body-based awareness, and mindfulness practices. I believe in meeting each person where they’re at and adapting my approach to support their unique needs and goals.

In my work with children and youth, I draw on developmentally informed, play-based approaches—including puppetry, expressive arts, CBT-informed play therapy, sand tray, and a blend of child-led and therapist-guided activities—to support emotional expression and connection. I view the family system as central to a child’s healing and development, and I strive to empower caregivers as active partners in the therapeutic process.

I am committed to providing an inclusive and affirming space for all identities and warmly welcome individuals from the LGBTQ2S+ community with care and respect.

I Also Enjoy:

When I’m not working, you can usually find me outside – running, hiking, skiing, or backpacking in the mountains! Time in nature helps me find balance, recharge, and stay grounded. I cherish time with my family, including my four-legged companions, and I do my best to make space for play, connection, and laughter in everyday life.
